We've been long-time fans of El Mercado! Their food is fresh delish - we love the brunch pancakes, empanadas, tlayuda, ahogados. Everything is flavorful. We've had happy hour, brunch and dinner and nothing disappoints! Their adherence to ever-changing COVID guidelines was always spectacular.

Very cool modern Mexican restaurant in downtown town Santa Ana. I came to use the free guacamole & chips deal that popped up on FB. It also pops up on their website too. It's a good size bowl of guac with pumpkin seeds, diced tomatoes, and sliced radish on top, along with an even bigger bowl of chips.

A dinner at El Mercado is an unforgettable experience. It's a beautiful restaurant operated by wonderful people. The food is fantastic and you'll be thinking about it long after the meal is over even you've already planned your text visit before you've even received the bill.

I love coming to this place, it's right the heart of Santa Ana. Love the outside patio with music playing lightly. I order the buttermilk pancakes with a Mexican coke . Bomb pancakes, the are huge and fluffy with a nice sweetness. Must come back and try more of their menu. Nice job Mercado modern.
